Pitou finishes healing their arm, quickly testing it out, and apologizes to Gon, saying that he has to be killed for the King's sake. Palm catches Komugi and assures Killua she will take care of her, with Killua using Speed of Lightning to reach Gon and desperately hoping that he can hang on until he gets there. He promises to stop Pitou if they hand over Komugi, but Killua quickly snatches up the segment and destroys it. Pouf suddenly appears before them, saying that Pitou thinks Komugi is safe away from them and that they can freely kill Gon now. Killua assures himself that as long as they have Komugi, Pitou won't be able to disobey them. Killua nervously asks Palm what's happening, and she says she isn't entirely sure since she can only see them, not hear what's going on, but she sees that Pitou isn't healing Kite and spots Gon crouched on the floor. But Pitou begins to heal their own broken arm, confusing Gon and making him wonder why they're not healing Kite first. ![]() Pitou suddenly manifests Doctor Blythe, and Gon thinks Pitou must have been lying before and that they really can revive Kite. Words begin to flood his mind: he regrets what he could have done, wonders if Kite is really dead, realizes Pitou is to blame, not himself, desperately begs for help and repeats that Kite is dead, saying no again and again and again as tears stream down his face. Gon remembers Kite's words about animals liking good Hunters, as he continues to say that he killed Kite. Pitou using Doctor Blythe to heal their own arm
